About Windota — Dota 2 match predictions

Who we are, how we compute predictions, and what the real accuracy is.

What is Windota

Windota is a live prediction and analytics service for Dota 2 matches. Right after the draft we publish the win probability for each team, break down synergies and counters, and show team ratings and recent form. The service covers every pro tournament.

The site offers full pro-hero statistics over the last 90 days for free: win rates, pick rates, ban rates, monthly trend, best teammates and counter picks, power phases and timings. No registration, no paid subscriptions, no hidden sections. Open any live match, study the draft and team form — and make your own call based on live data instead of guesswork.

Windota fits Dota 2 fans who follow the pro scene and want to know the favourite before the first creep; bettors who hunt value by comparing our probability with bookmaker odds; analysts and coaches who study the current hero meta, synergies and counters on the live patch.

What the accuracy is

Across tens of thousands of pro matches, our accuracy stays around 73–81% pre-game. That means out of ten confident-favourite predictions we get seven to eight right. The prediction is published before the match starts and locked in automatically — no after-the-fact edits, no result fitting.

No '100% predictions', no 'fixed matches' — those are scam markers you see on shady sites. We show honest probability based on math: team ratings, head-to-head history, hero synergies and counters in the current patch, recent form, and series context (BO1/BO3/BO5).

Every match page exposes the components behind the prediction: how much team rating contributed, how much the draft, how much form and context. That removes the 'black box' problem — you see what the forecast is built on, and can disagree if your own analysis says otherwise. A prediction is not a final verdict, it's a mathematically clean signal you can lean on when making a decision.
